PunkStrategy: The Ecosystem Token

PunkStrategy ($PNKSTR) was the first Strategy token, launched as an experimental art project in September, 2025. It launched with no supply held back for the team. New Strategy generations retain the buy-and-burn concept but can use different launch and fee mechanics.

At its standard 10% fee, a trade routed through the v4 hook has the following allocation:

• 8% going to buy CryptoPunks for the protocol
• 1% gifted to FundingWorks NFT holders
• 1% to the TokenWorks team.

Routing through the original PunkStrategy hook is not universally enforced. Its sell fee can also change with the contract’s state and cooldowns; check the current trade quote rather than assuming every trade costs 10%.

The original PunkStrategy contract is renounced. Its buy-and-burn design made $PNKSTR the ecosystem token supported by platform allocations from other Strategies.

New NFT launch payments

The current queued ERC-721 launch payment is reserved for an initial purchase of the newly launched Strategy token for its requester. It is not a deployment-fee buy of $PNKSTR. Ordinary trading-fee allocations continue to follow each Strategy’s hook.
