Strategy types

Strategies share an onchain buy-and-burn design, but differ in what they purchase and how they can be launched.

NFT strategies

NFT strategies accumulate fees to buy NFTs from an underlying collection, then list those NFTs for resale. Sale proceeds buy and burn the Strategy token.

ERC-721 launches are permissionless requests followed by a waiting period and finalization. ERC-1155 launches still require collection authorization.

Fungible strategies

Fungible strategies buy and sell configured amounts of an underlying ERC-20 token. They use the immediate launch flow and are permissionless, subject to the token and factory checks.

Recursive strategies

Recursive strategies buy and burn their own token. Existing recursive Strategies remain available, but the current create form does not offer new recursive launches.
