Recursive strategies

Recursive Strategies are standalone assets that buy and burn themselves instead of buying an underlying asset.

New recursive launches are not available in the current create form. This page documents the existing Strategy type. Previously deployed recursive Strategies remain available.

How existing recursive Strategies work

The original recursive model used a 10% trading fee with the following allocation as a share of the trade:

• 8% accumulated for future purchases of the Strategy token.
• 1% allocated as royalties to the Strategy creator.
• 0.8% for buying and burning $PNKSTR.
• 0.2% allocated to TokenWorks.

In the documented original design, accumulated funds become available for buy-and-burn execution on a 30-minute cadence. Transactions still need to be submitted to perform an onchain action. The deployed contract and its settings determine the behavior of an individual Strategy.

Historical launch terms

The original documentation described permissionless recursive launches with a 0.01 ETH payment, split as 0.008 ETH for $PNKSTR buy-and-burn and 0.002 ETH to TokenWorks. These are historical terms, not an available offer in the current create form.
